Welcome to Jason Hughes State Farm, located on James Island in Charleston, SC!

We are a team of insurance and financial services professionals who are driven to help South Carolina residents and business owners achieve their financial goals. We recognize that each family is on their own unique journey to reaching their goals, and we are committed to giving the time needed to understand that journey. Our team can provide you with the right resources to help you be successful.

I’m a Lowcountry native, born and raised in Beaufort, South Carolina, and spent many summers in the Charleston area visiting grandparents and extended family. My wife Kerin, and our two children are active members of James Island Presbyterian Church, and support several local mission partners, including James Island Outreach and Habitat for Humanity. In our free time, you will find us enjoying the water in the summer, and shucking oysters when the weather gets cold.

I have more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, including 11 years with State Farm. I originally started with State Farm as an Agent in Greensboro, NC, and have spent most of the past decade helping business owners solve the complex issues they face.

We work with individuals, families, and business owners in managing their auto insurance, home insurance, business insurance, and life insurance. We also help with planning for the future.
